Benchmarks from published 2026 UGC rate data. Your real rate depends on your portfolio and demand in your category.
How the estimate works
Base rates are anchored to published 2026 benchmarks for each market separately, not converted from dollars, because UGC does not price by exchange rate. Everything on top follows the pricing conventions brands already expect.
Anchored per market
US median near $175, the UK band £100-250, the Gulf AED 600-2,000. Each market gets its own base, so no quote is a currency conversion of another country's rate.
Usage priced separately
Organic posting is included in the base. Running your video as paid advertising is a licence, priced by window at the conventional 30 to 50 percent uplift.
Add-ons that pay
Extra hooks, raw files, rush turnaround, whitelisting and exclusivity are each their own line, because each is real work or a real restriction on you.
Frequently asked questions
How much should a UGC creator charge per video?
The 2026 market median is around $175 per video. Creators starting out land $75 to $150, established creators $200 to $400, and specialists in trust-heavy categories $500 to $1,200. Gulf rates run higher, at AED 600 to 2,000, because licensing keeps the supply of eligible creators small.
Why does this calculator ask about usage rights?
Because usage is where most creators lose money. Letting a brand run your video as paid advertising is a separate licence from letting them post it on their own feed, and convention prices it at 30 to 50 percent on top of the base fee for a normal window. Bundling it in for free is the single most expensive beginner mistake.
Should I show the exact number the calculator gives?
Quote the headline figure and keep the range in your pocket. If a brand pushes back, reduce the scope rather than the price: a shorter video, fewer hooks, a shorter usage window. Your rate per unit of value stays intact.
Are these prices guaranteed?
No. They are benchmarks from published 2026 UGC rate data so you have a defensible starting point. Your real rate depends on your portfolio, your reviews and how much demand exists in your category.
Why do rates differ so much between countries?
UGC does not price by exchange rate. Each market has its own supply and demand: the US has the deepest creator pool and the most competition, the UK sits slightly below it, and the UAE runs above Western medians because the advertiser permit requirement shrinks the pool of creators brands can legally hire.
