How Much Do Influencers Charge in the UK? 5 Rate Cards Compared

Quick answer: Published UK guides put a nano influencer post anywhere from £20 to £350 and a micro influencer post anywhere from £80 to £1,500, as listed on 1 November 2026. They disagree because they draw the tiers differently, and none of the five we read publishes a sample of real UK deals. Taking the middle of four separate publishers gives a planning range of £50 to £225 for nano and £175 to £1,000 for micro. That range is arithmetic on their numbers, not a measured market price.

Search for UK influencer prices and you get agency and vendor rate cards that do not match. One says a nano post starts at £20. Another says £100. Nobody tells you why. So we opened five of the guides that rank for this question, put the numbers side by side, and wrote down who published each one and what it is based on.

Every figure below is per post, as listed on 1 November 2026. The follower band each publisher uses is in brackets, because those bands are a big part of the disagreement.

Where they disagree, and why

  • The nano floor. £20 at Whito, £100 at Awin. That is a five times gap for what sounds like the same creator.
  • The top of micro. £500 at Limelight, £1,500 at Whito. Three times.
  • The top of mega. £20,000 at Awin, £100,000+ at Aether. Whito's own table simply stops at £40,000+.

Three things explain most of this. The last one is our reading, not something the publishers say.

  1. The tiers are not the same tiers. A creator with 60,000 followers is micro at Awin and Whito, and mid-tier at Aether, Gigapay and Limelight. Awin's macro starts at 500,000 followers. Whito's starts at 100,000. Comparing the word "macro" across guides compares different people.
  2. Only one guide shows its method, and that method is a conversion. Whito tells you it took international guides, converted them and adjusted upward. That is honest, and it also means its UK figures are not UK deal data.
  3. Five guides are not five data points. Gigapay's table repeats Aether's, and it cites Whito as well. Every publisher here also has something to sell. None of the five reports what a counted set of UK brands actually paid, so treat all of this as asking prices and opinion.

A planning range you can use

Here is the range we would budget from. We dropped Gigapay because it repeats Aether, then took the median low and the median high of the remaining publishers. This comes only from the numbers above. It is not our own price data, and a real quote can land outside it.

What the per-post price leaves out

A per-post rate usually buys one post on the creator's own channel. These add-ons move the invoice, as listed on 1 November 2026.

Rights are where most budgets break, so read our usage rights guide before you agree a price. If you need videos for your own channels and not someone's audience, you are buying UGC, which is priced differently: see our UGC rates post and how to hire UGC creators.

UK ads must be labelled: the ASA's influencers' guide (fourth edition, 23 October 2026) says free products count as payment too, and that a clear Ad label should come upfront.

A worked £5,000 UK campaign

This is an example, not a quote. Prices are picked from the planning range above. The 25% Reel uplift is the low end of Whito's range, the 50% rights fee is the low end of Aether's, and the 20% contingency is the low end of the 20% to 30% Aether suggests.

Aether's own guide says £5,000 to £15,000 buys 5 to 10 micro influencers. Our plan buys fewer because it pays for ad rights and keeps money back. Drop those two lines and you can afford more posts, but you cannot run any of them as ads. Ask every creator whether their quote includes VAT, since that changes what you pay.

The only number that counts is the one a creator gives you for your exact job. Send the same spec to at least three, so the replies compare. Our brief template covers the longer version.

Hi [name], we are [brand] and we sell [product] in the UK. Could you quote for one [Reel / TikTok / feed post] on your own account, going live in [month]? Please price these separately: the post itself, 30 days of use in our paid ads, and any exclusivity you would want. Does your price include VAT? We will send a one-page brief before you film.

FAQ

How much do micro influencers charge in the UK?

The guides we read list £80 to £1,500 per post, as listed on 1 November 2026, and they do not agree on where micro ends. Our planning range from those guides is £175 to £1,000. A creator near the top of the band costs more than one who just crossed 10,000 followers.

How much do influencers charge per post in the UK if they have under 10,000 followers?

Published nano rates run from £20 to £350. Our planning range from those sources is £50 to £225. Ask for a Reel price and a static price separately, because video usually costs more.

Why do UK influencer rate cards disagree so much?

They use different follower bands, some are converted from US dollar guides, one repeats another, and none of the five we read publishes a sample of real UK deals. Treat them as a starting point for a negotiation.

Does the rate include running the post as an ad?

Aether says standard rate card pricing covers organic posting only, and that paid ad or website use adds 50% to 200%. Get ad rights priced separately and in writing, with start and end dates.

Do I need an agency?

No. Gigapay lists agency markups of 20% to 80% on creator fees, so running a small campaign yourself leaves more of the budget for creators. The trade is your own time on briefs, contracts and chasing posts.
